How we'll measure our collective impact

How we'll measure our collective impact

As we move forward with Oxfordshire on the Move, it's vital that we can effectively measure the impact Oxfordshire on the Move is having. We are creating an Oxfordshire on the Move Evaluation Framework that can map the difference we are making together on two levels:

Ambition level change

For each of our four collective ambitions, we've identified key priority areas and actions that we can take together towards each ambition. As we go forward, we will meet on a regular basis to assess the following:

  • How are we progressing against each action?
  • What difference is this making to helping people in most need increase their activity levels, and how is this benefiting their health and wellbeing?
  • What are the challenges and barriers that are preventing us from achieving the actions we need to take?

System level change

As well as measuring progress against each of our four ambitions, we want to capture the difference that Oxfordshire on the Move is making at a system level, too. We'll do this by asking the following questions:

  • How many organisations have engaged with physical activity and connected with one another as a result of Oxfordshire on the Move?
  • What actions have organisations taken to increase physical activity within their projects and programmes?
  • Is physical activity becoming included in new county-wide strategies and agendas as a result of Oxfordshire on the Move?
